A rare, GEM Quality Carcharoides totuserratus (extinct Mackerel) shark tooth from the Fishermans Steps, Jan Juc, Victoria, Australia. Incredible color and preservation. Complete tooth. This tooth is Late Oligocene (Janjukian) from the Jan Juc Fm. A rare collector's Carcharoides totuserratus tooth. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A ~4" TOP QUALTIY Megalodon - Golden Beach tooth. Fantastic caramel tan colored crown with an incredible brown colored bourlette (extra large & complete!) and a brown root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent serrations with a damaged tip serration. No hydration cracks on root! Miocene age (10-15 million years ago). A GEM, 6" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our March 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light golden tan colored crown with an exceptional white bourlette and mostly complete. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan color! The bourlette is huge and near perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Nearly PERFECT serrations (2-3 serrations damaged near the base  - all serrations are razor sharp. Exceptional serrations for a really big Meg! The root is an excellent white color with few no hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). The finest example of a 6" classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth that I have seen considering the shape, color, and preservation. An ultra rare, top quality 5-3/4" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. This tooth was found in the Ernst West quarry. An October Fossil of the Month.  This Megalodon tooth has the highest quality enamel with a great Blue & Tan color. The bourlette is a brown color and nearly complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. The serrations are complete with a good tip serration - incredible serrations for a large Sharktooth Hill Meg tooth! This is a middle Miocene Meg. Note - the grooves on the root ends and the small root "ears" at the top of the root - a Miocene Meg tooth feature!  Note - a 3/8" enamel section pooped off and was reattached on the right side (1/2" from the root).
