A Top Quality, Mioplosus fish from the 18 inch layer with frame. The Mioplosus labracoides is an extinct Perch-like fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA), Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. A scarce species. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. A GORGEOUS, HUGE copper red colored Angustidens  tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River in northeastern No. Carolina. An April Fossil of the Month. Incredible rare copper red colors! Highest quality enamel. Excellent red and copper colors - very nice. No enamel peel. The red bourlette is excellent - 80% complete. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Excellent side cusps.
