A rare, Alopias grandis shark tooth, the extinct Giant Thresher, from Calvert Cliffs, Maryland. A posterior tooth. Nice tan color. A very rare, Alopias palatasi shark tooth, an extinct serrated Giant Thresher, from So. Carolina. Nice blue color. Good preservation, but there is erosion. Serrations are visible. These teeth are rarely found and seen. A rare collectors' tooth in high quality condition. Authenticity guaranteed. This is the second rarest of the Giant Thresher species.
