An ultra rare group of two associated TOP QUALITY Araucaria mirabilis pine cones from Argentina. A May Fossil of the Month. These cones were found side by side and remain on their original natural matrix. The Jurassic pine cones are exquisite and known for their highy quality and extreme preservation. This cone is large and shows great exterior detail. Rare short stem sections are present. An incredible pair of associated natural pine cones. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - new Argentine pine cone specimen export has stopped for more than 10 years! These cones come from an old collection. Specmen sits nicely on its flat base and makes a fantastic display piece!  Note - this specimen weighs 1.75 lbs. and will require supplemental postage for international customers.
