A GEM, 5-1/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our April 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light golden tan colored crown with an excellent hazel brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan color! The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Nearly PERFECT serrations. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color with few no hydration cracks and a "root ear" which is characteristic of the Miocene Megs. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. A GEM, 4-7/8"+" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This Meg has an incredible light tan and blue colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel - complete! Exceptional color! The bourlette is excellent and complete! The serrations are large and razor sharp - perfect. An excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 15 MYA). This tooth is from an old collection. One of the finest examples of a classic upper jaw anterior Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. A LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens tail (caudal) vertebra from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. Very good bone quality and color. The vertebra is very complete with both processes and a good section of the neural arch with a well defined neural notch remains. Very good bone preservation. Basic crack fill on the two processes which is to be expected. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Carter Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Edmontosaurus vertebra.  Authenticity guaranteed. Our July FOTM week 2 offering - an ULTRA RARE, EXTRA LARGE copper red colored Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw anterior position. A monster sized 3-3/4" Chubutensis tooth. Rare copper red colors with rich reds and red-brown colors. The bourlette is very good. The serrations are sharp with a worn tip. Excellent color! Incredible size and excellent overall condition. Of course, there is no repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.  An ultra rare collector's tooth from the No.Carolina copper red site. We will not see many teeth from the copper red site and no Chubs like this one!

A Top Quality, LARGE Zilchovaspis rogusa trilobite from Morocco. It has German controlled preparation and retains all natural color and detail. Preparation easily took many dozens of hours to clean this specimen. Incredible prep work! All natural - an incredible display piece with the front of the cephalon raised to 3-1/4" (see photos #2 and 4). A Lower Devonian trilobite (395 mya). One of my favorite species. Authenticity guaranteed.

A RARE, Troodon formosus tooth from the Judith River Fm. of western North America. Anterior tooth. Troodontid teeth are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. The enamel is excellent with a good brown color.  Good large posterior and excellent anterior serrations. Please note that Judith River Fm. Troodon teeth typically have anterior serrations. There is damage to the tip. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. Brachylophosaurus is a mid-sized hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Judth River formation. Bone quality is excellent. Note - the distinctive ventral ridge is located on the base of the ungual. One crack. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Brachylophosaurus ungual.  Authenticity guaranteed. A rare item.
