A RARE, Top Quality Megachasma tooth, the Megamouth shark, from the Bahia Iglesa Fm., Chile. The Megamouth shark is a very rare and exotic fossil shark tooth since it is rarely found in the fossil record. An ultra rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis  rooted premaxillary tooth. This Allosaurus crown measures 15/16". The complete tooth measures 2-7/16" and 1/2" wide and is fully inflated. The enamel is highest quality with a natural wear facet at the tip. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent serrations. Great overall condition and serrations.
