A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis tibia. A complete adult tibia on a custom steel stand. A May Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus tibia measures 32" (36.5" on stand). This is a heavy bone which is 9" wide at top and 9.5" at bottom. Highest quality bone. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent overall condition with some normal crack fill. No restoration. P. anceps is one of the largest mosasaur species known with huge nearly round teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation.
