This is a post orbital skull section covered with 12+ spikes. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This skull section has exceptional color and patina. Note the incredible blood grooves in the bone. A well preserved, ultra rare Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid holdfast from Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoids were floating crinoids and their holdfast was actually an air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx. This holdfast is bulbous with a great amount of detail. These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. An excellent rare holdfast specimen. An ultra rare, Auriculatus upper jaw, parasymphyseal tooth from Kazakhstan. The parasymphyseal is very rare since this tooth is not lost during feeding. There are not many of these teeth in the fossil record. The brown bourlette is incredible - 100% complete! The fine serrations are complete with a killer side cusp. An excellent pair of Mucrospirifer thedfordensis brachiopods from Arkona, Ontario, Canada. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Carcharias acutissima, a Requiem shark tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. An anterior tooth. A RARE, Albertavenator curriei  (Troodon) tooth from the Horseshoe Canyon Fm. of Alberta, Canada. A premaxillary tooth. I only have one PM tooth. An April Fossil of the Month. Troodontid teeth are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. The enamel is excellent with an excellent brown color.  Excellent large posterior and anterior serrations. Please note that Albertavenator teeth typically have anterior (mesial) serrations.
