A very rare, early Otodus aksuaticus lateral tooth from Kzil-Orda, Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to O. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. A July Fossil of the Month. The bourlette is complete. This tooth exhibits small serrations along the lower 1/2 of the crown and micro serrations to the tip. These teeth exhibit excellent color, gloss, and preservation. An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon posterior tooth from the James River, Virginia. A nice light copper color. Great color! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are sharp and complete with a tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and complete. The root is complete. A TOP QUALITY, 3-3/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible light blue colored crown with an excellent two tone brown bourlette. A LARGE, ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaur toe bone from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this toe bone could Albertosaurus, Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A May Fossil of the Month. This toe bone measures 3-5/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur toe bone. This could be the next to last digit of the center toe (see Albertosaurus foot photo). The bone is very high quality and complete with excellent color. One crack repaired. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. An incredibly prepared, GEM QUALITY Erbenochile erbeni trilobite, the "Big Eyes" trilobite. An April Fossil of the Month. German preparation. A very ornate design with thorax spines and incredible "tower" compound eyes! The massive eyes provided 360 degree visual coverage and allowed this trilobite to see behind itself over the thorax.
