A Very Scarce, Quality Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth -  an upper jaw lateral Mako tooth from the Dakhla area, Western Sahara, Morocco. Check out the serrations within the enamel wrinkle. A very rare shark skin specimen. This matrix piece is covered with dermal denticals. Shark skin impressions with denticals are extremely rare and a Paleozoic age find adds to the rarity. An exceptional collector's piece from an old collection!
