An Extra Large, TOP QUALITY, 3" Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth with an excellent blue & tan colored crown. A March Fossil of the Month. This is a natural matrix specimen sitting with many whale bones in the original Round Mountain Silt matrix block. The large whale bone at base is 5-3/4" x 3". Plus there are four more whale bones and a shark vertebra exposed in this matrix block. This is a 100% natural matrix piece - nothing added or glued. 100% natural. A Huge, HIGH QUALITY copper red colored Angustidens - upper jaw lateral tooth from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Incredible light copper red & green colors! This tooth was not exposed to the river too long so it is a mix of copper red and green. No enamel peel. The serrations are sharp including the tip. One very nice, extra large side cusp. A Pathologic, Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is an upper jaw tooth with three primary cusps, but it should have had 5 cusps. Two cusp did not form. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. Perfect cusps. These tooth was found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. and is late Miocene to early Pliocene age. A scarce collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This rare piece is from an old collection!
