Glyptodon was the largest of the the oversized armadillos with a extremely thick shell. It evolved in the Pliocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene in South America. A rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni shark posterior tooth, the extinct False Mako shark, from the Pamunkey River, Virginia. Nice tan & brown color. Excellent preservation and condition.
