A HUGE 3" Top Quality Carcharodon carcharias, the Great White shark, tooth from So. Carolina. A July Fossil of the Month. An upper jaw anterior tooth. Highest quality enamel. A blue & tan colored enamel and a solid charcoal colored root. Fantastic color! Root is well preserved - very difficult to find in the Carolina GWs. Nice sharp serrations with a good tip serration. A well preserved Glyptotherium scute from the ACE Basin, So. Carolina. The Glyptotherium  was an oversized armadillo with a thick shell that was a close relative to the Glyptodon. It evolved in the early Pliocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene in North America. This is a scute is complete with some wear. Well fossilized. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.

An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, GEM Quality Parotodus benedeni  tooth with a massive root from Euhaw Creek, Jasper Co., So. Carolina. A Miocene-Pliocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. Nice Charcoal Gray color. Lateral tooth. Highest quality enamel with razor sharp edges and a "needle-like" sharp tip. Root is complete, thick (11/16"), nicely articulated, and a very small hydration crack. No wear! No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A very difficult tooth to locate.
