A Rare, Extra Large Crotalcephalus aff. africanus trilobite. Another November Fossil of the Month. This is a BIG trilobite with a very unique design including long spines on the pygidium. This species appears to be armored or designed to blend into its environment for protection. Incredible shell and spine preservation and incredible size for this rare species! An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, manus (hand) claw from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. A May Fossil of the Month. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. America during the late Miocene age. This claw is a near complete with minor erosion along the upper edge and back end. Both areas have minor restoration. Fantastic color and preservation. Authenticity guaranteed. I have not seen a swimming sloth claw for sale before. This is all of the sloth material that I have from 15 years ago! A rare collector's claw.
