A Top Quality Protolamna sokolovi, an extinct Mackerel shark, tooth from Tarrant Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Lower Cretaceous Paw Paw Fm. shark. A Top Quality Ptychodus whipplei, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Arcadia Park Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with a very tall conical cusp with transverse ridges extending across the cusp face, but typically do not reach the margin. Authenticity guaranteed. The Kolbay Collection. A LARGE, Top Quality Hispidaspis lasuri tooth from Kolbay, W. Kazakhstan. An anterior tooth. Note - This species is known for their multiple, highly irregular side cusps which can cover the entire root shoulder and the base of the crown. Very strange! Great color and condition.
