Two Top Quality Scyphocrinites elegans crinoids from Alnif, Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flower"). This crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. These crinoids have good sized stem sections of 2-1/4" and 3-1/2". These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Museum Quality specimen. A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth has short pathologic ribs in the enamel. Possibly an attempt to create serrations. There have been some C. hubellii GW transition teeth found in the mine.  This tooth has a rich two-tone tan crown and a light tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Pliocene tooth from the Yorktown Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

Two well preserved horse teeth (Equus sp. ) and a deer tooth (Odocoileus sp.) from Okeechobee, Florida.  The horse arrived in North America during the late Pliocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene. Deer arrived in No. America in the mid-Miocene. These teeth reside on their original hard sandstone matrix. Lots of prep time required to expose these teeth. Very well fossilized specimens. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A great display piece!
