An ultra rare Top Quality, Stegosaurus plate. A February Fossil of the Month. This Stegosaurus plate is good sized and measures 17-1/2" wide x 13" high. The bone quality is exceptional with a black color. Excellent overall condition. There is limited crack fill, but there is no restoration. This is a large and all natural specimen. Stegosaurus was an iconic quadruped herbivore recognized by these plates lining its neck, back and tail during the late Jurassic. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis finger III (including the manus claw and two non-associated digits). A February Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus finger III measures 6". The manus claw measures 2-15/16" with exceptional bone quality. Rich black-brown color. Excellent overall condition. The tip was repaired. Both hand bones are complete with no rapair. A GEM, 4-3/8" Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth. Our February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light orange colored crown with an exceptional two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional light orange color! The bourlette is excellent and complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Essentially PERFECT serrations with partial damage to one. Exceptional serrations! The root is an excellent white color. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). A Top Quality, 4-1/2" Classic Peruvian Early Megalodon tooth. Our 2nd February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent tan bourlette. The root is an excellent reddish brown color and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age).
