Our October Fossil of the Month (FOTM) is an incredible TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE Megalodon upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from a So. Carolina. A fantastic gray colored crown. Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is black and 80% complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a large tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg. The root is complete, extra wide (4-3/4" W), and a nice dark browncolor. Excellent symmetry. This is an excellent big Meg. Weighs 1.25 lb. 100% natural. NO repair! A Quality Great White shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from Baja, Mexico. This tooth has a nice tan colored crown and a tan root. Great color! High quality enamel with no hydration cracks or peeling. Very glossy. Serrations are sharp with a strong tip serration. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root.
