A very rare, early Macrorhizodus nolfi upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. Macrorhizodus nolfi is a Lamnidae shark and an early Mako shark (Isurus praecursor) relative in this early Eocene deposit. The side cusps are complete. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth.

A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good. An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni, the False Mako, tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield, California. This tooth has an excellent tan colored enamel and a very massive root.
