An EXTRA LARGE, pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs, and this is a big one. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. Note -  1-1/4" thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod. An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon posterior tooth from the Pamunkey River, Virginia. A fantastic copper-red color. Great color! The enamel is the highest quality with hydration cracks. The serrations are sharp and complete with a great tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and mostly dentin layer. The root is complete. Definitely a Miocene Meg with serration bumps at base. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root. An Ultra Rare, Top Quality Onchopristis dunklei rostal tooth from the Kem Kem area of Morocco. Onchopristis dunklei was a smaller Cretaceous Saw shark which had teeth with three barbs. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. This Saw shark species is rarely seen in Morocco.

A Top Quality, Isurus oxyrinchus, the Shortfin Mako shark tooth (upper jaw anterior tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich tan crown and a light brown colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. An ultra rare, 5-5/8" GEM, Deep Red North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon, an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. This incredibly rare tooth is our February Fossil of the Month. NC001 has an incredible deep red colored crown. The finest color from the copper red site! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are essentially prefect with a needle-like tip serration. The root is perfect. A rare well preserved, Cave Hyena jaw section with three teeth (Crocuta crocuta spelaea) from the Yakutsk Region, Siberia. The Cave Hyena is also known as the Ice Age Spotted Hyena. These extra large hyenas lived in the mountain caves from central Europe to Russia.
