A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". A High Quality Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. The enamel is good quality with nice color / patina. Typical wear faucet from grinding on opposing teeth. Note - high center ridge and crown assymetry (see Pachy maxillary teeth differentiation discussion below). Note the nice crown wave on the right side. No cracks or restoration. An ultra rare Pachy tooth!  Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis head spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This juvenile Pachy skull spike has excellent color and patina. Note the large blood grooves in the bone. It is a complete skull spike specimen. Note - the very tip was professionally restored. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus node. You don't see these skull pieces very often. Authenticity guaranteed.
