An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. Includes a massive 5-1/2" tooth and a 3" tooth in the original matrix. Both are fully rooted and perfect teeth which is very rare! This is not your typical Mosasaur crown glued to a root. This is an all original, associated specimen (beware of the fakes - discussion below). Exceptional condition and preservation.  No repair or restoration. Museum Quality. The only authentic Mosasaur specimen with two original rooted teeth that I have seen!  Note - the large Moroccan Mosasaurs are being renamed to a Prognathodon genus. Authenticity guaranteed.

A rare Megalodon tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. This Meg is serrated. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D002 is the tooth on the right. Authenticity guaranteed.

A GEM Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the upper jaw. The specimen resides on its orinigal matrix. This plate has exceptional preservation, fantastic deep red colors, and exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is mostly matrix covered with a large whale bone is exposed. An incredible late Miocene Eagle ray mouth plate from the Bahia Inglesa Fm.  Museum Quality. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site.  A great display piece!

An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Knightia fish from the 18 Inch layer, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Knightia eocaena is a Herring-like fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA).  This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely dense and difficult to prepare. P. anceps is one of the largest mosasaur species known with huge nearly round teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation. There is a Serratolamna shark tooth attached to the base. Note - this large Moroccan Mosasaur was renamed to a Prognathodon genus. A massive Mosasaur tooth from the hero of Jurassic World! An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality 6-1/16" Caribbean Megalodon tooth - a upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. An October Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible very light tan colored crown with charcoal and red-brown highlights. Highest quality enamel with very small hydration cracks. The bourlette is white colored and complete. The Caribbean Megalodon teeth consistently offer the closest to white colored enamel. Fantastic color! The serrations are razor sharp and complete. Excellent serrations overall. The root is a golden tan color, has no hydration cracks, and iscomplete. Note - this tooth has 1/2" of professional restoration of a saw cut  located 5/8" below the tip on the right side (typical for these teeth). Otherwise a perfect tooth. Great symmetry. This Megalodon was found in a commercial limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredibly colored Caribbean Megalodon tooth. One of finest examples of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth that I have seen. An exceptional, rare collector's Megalodon tooth with great color!  Museum Quality Megalodon.
