A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. A complete spike with excellent articulation. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw lateral tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". A TOP QUALITY, 3-3/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible blue - tan colored crown with an excellent two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel.
