An ultra rare, EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Classic Red Site Carcharocles megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an incredible upper jaw anterior tooth. NC001 has an incredibly rich copper-red color. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality with exceptional gloss. The serrations are large and 100% complete with a perfect tip. Bourlette is brown and 100% dentin layer. The root is complete and nicely articulated. A very well preserved tooth. A rare, TOP QUALITY BIG "Georgia RED" Megalodon tooth from the Miocene - an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth. A December Fossil 2019 of the Month. The enamel is the Highest Quality with a few, fine hydration cracks. The crown is a fantastic mix of red & brown color - very nice. An excellent, dark brown colored bourlette which is nearly complete. Razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration.
