A rare, TOP QUALITY  Megalodon tooth - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth from Calvert Cliffs, Maryland. One of our January 2018 Fossils of the Month. An exceptional tan and blue crown with a large brown bourlette - great eye appeal. High quality enamel - the surface is like glass! The serrations are razor sharp and essentially complete with a good tip serration - rare for a big Meg! The root has essentially no hydration cracks and is complete - exceptional. A Top Quality Meg tooth, and a rare, large collector's tooth from Calvert Cliffs! You don't see many Calvert Cliffs Megalodon teeth exceeding 4" - a rare find!

A transition tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below). The bourlette is large and complete. Exhibits very fine serrations along the lower 2/3 of the crown and weakly serrated side cusps with very irregular serrations. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! A rare TOP QUALITY, Great White shark transition tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw tooth. This C. hubbelli tooth has small serrations at the base of the cutting edge that disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent tan colored crown and tan root. Fantastic color! No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional Great White transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate Carcharodon hubbelli since there is no new supply. A good tooth to pair with GW tooth (C. cacharias) C217 for a transition set.

A rare High Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - lower jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & duistally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This tooth has good color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. Two side cusplets. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.

Our July FOTM week 2 offering - an ULTRA RARE, EXTRA LARGE copper red colored Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw anterior position. A monster sized 3-3/4" Chubutensis tooth. Rare copper red colors with rich reds and red-brown colors. The bourlette is very good. The serrations are sharp with a worn tip. Excellent color! Incredible size and excellent overall condition. Of course, there is no repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.  An ultra rare collector's tooth from the No.Carolina copper red site.
