A LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens toe from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a non-associated set of toe bones from the outer toe (toe IV - see diagram), and it consists of four four toe bones (Phalanx 1 thru 4) and a pes hoof core (ungual). Bone quality is excellent with minor crack fill on Phalanx 1 & 2 only. Other pieces are perfect including an exceptional pes ungual. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Carter & Garfield Co., Montana. An exceptional collector's quality Edmontosaurus toe.  Authenticity guaranteed.

A top quality, large Phareodus fish. The Phareodus encaustus is a Osteoglossidae fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) fish, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin. This piece is from the Split Fish Layer and shows fantastic detail. Excellent preservation and preparation. Another December 2017 Fossil fo the Month.This Chubutensis has an incredible light tan and blue colored crown. The bourlette is great light tan color and complete.
