A LARGE, ultra rare, GEM Trigonotodus serratus shark tooth, the extinct serrated Giant Thresher from southern Virginia. Our last January 2018 Fossil of the Month offering. Fantastic copper red color. A group of six TOP QUALITY, Metasequoia dakotensis cones on original Hell Creek Formation matrix from Montana. These "dinosaur age" pine cones are found in the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson Co., Montana. A March Fossil of the Month.   These Upper Cretaceous pine cones are high quality with great preservation.They are fully inflated spheres and maximun size (redwoods produce very small cones for their size!).
