A rare, Top Quality Classic Red Site Carcharocles megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an incredible upper jaw anterior tooth. An April Fossil of the Month. NC002 has an incredibly rich copper-red color. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality with exceptional gloss. The serrations are large and 100% complete with a perfect tip. Bourlette is brown and 80% complete with minimal dentin layer exposed. The root is completeand nicely articulated. A very well preserved tooth. This is a gorgeous Miocene Meg with "root ear" develoment and grooves on the root end sides. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root - a top 1% tooth from this site! An ultra rare, top quality 5-3/4" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. This tooth was found in the Ernst West quarry. An October Fossil of the Month.  This Megalodon tooth has the highest quality enamel with a great Blue & Tan color. The bourlette is a brown color and nearly complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. The serrations are complete with a good tip serration - incredible serrations for a large Sharktooth Hill Meg tooth! This is a middle Miocene Meg. Note - the grooves on the root ends and the small root "ears" at the top of the root - a Miocene Meg tooth feature!  Note - a 3/8" enamel section pooped off and was reattached on the right side (1/2" from the root). A beautifully prepared, GEM QUALITY Comura bultyncki trilobite. The collector's favorite spiny trilobite. An April Fossil of the Month. A Top Quality Great White tooth from the Ica region of Peru. Lower jaw tooth - juvenile shark. Highest quality enamel. An excellent TAN & BLUE colored crown with excellent serrations. Excellent serrations - no wear. The tooth exhibits the side cusps - a juvenile trait. Note - the tooth is a possible Carcharodon hubbelli, GW transition tooth, with small serrations on the lower half of the crown and no serrations on the top half of the crown. A very rare, Otodus auriculatus tooth from the copper-red site of No. Carolina. The crown has coarse serrations. The side cusps are typical of the Otodus obliquus. Complete root. Early Eocene - Ypresian age. A very rare collector's tooth. Very few Otodus auriculatus teeth (early form) found at this site!
