A Top Quality, 4-1/2" Classic Peruvian Early Megalodon tooth. Our 2nd February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent tan bourlette. Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and essentially complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. The root is an excellent reddish brown color and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). Note -  the "root ears"on the root, root wing grooves, the exceptionally large serrations, and Chubutensis-like humps at the base of the serrations - all Miocene traits. A top quality example of a classic Peruvian Miocene Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. An exceptional collector's tooth from the old days! Museum Quality Megalodon. A rare Myliobatis barb section from Sumatra, Indonesia. This ray barb was deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's fossil. An Extra Large, Top Quality Denversaurus schlessmani  tooth from the late Cretaceous of North America. Denversaurus schlessmani was the large Nodosaur which grew to 20 feet and 6000 pounds. The enamel is very good quality with excellent color and patina.
