It is beautifully prepared to give it a sculpted effect with the bottom of the cephalon, thorax, and pygidium are fully exposed. Preparation easily took many dozens of hours to clean this specimen! Incredible detail and completeness. Compound eyes are exceptionally preserved. A Middle Devonian trilobite. All natural - an incredible display piece. Museum quality specimen. A fantastic group of six, large well preserved Jurassic brachiopods on matrix. All fully inflated and complete. Largest specimens are 1-1/4". An excellent collector's piece. This is a Middle Jurassic (Bathonian -165 MMYA) brachiopod from Poix-Terron, France. A fantastic display piece!
