Found in the Hamar L’Aghdad Limestone Fm, a Middle Devonian trilobite. The Devonian trilobites from Jebel Issoumour deposits are world renowned for their incredible preservation and beauty. Note - This claw had some breaks along the bottom of the claw and at the back end of the claw. So there is some repair and restoration to reassemble the claw.  A good quality, collector's claw. An incredible, polished Goniatites sp., an early ammonite-like cephalopod showing the intricate internal chamber structure. The rock matrix is a beautiful marble material and the cavities are mineral filled! These Goniatites are beautifully polished on all sides. Thick (7/8"+). This is a great early Ammonite. An excellent display item!
