A very rare Glyphis glyphis tooth, the Speartooth shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D177 is an excellent upper jaw anterior tooth. Note - "spear-like" crown development. My best upper jaw tooth! Authenticity guaranteed.

A rare Mako shark tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth appear to be juvenile Isurus desori teeth (narrow crown) and are scarce in the Sumatran deposit. A Leptopius duponti - fossil Weevil cocoon from Eyre Pennisula, South Australia. They are known as "pixie clogs". These cacoons were spun by the weevils in their pupae stage to protect them during metamorphosis into adult beetles. Excellent preservation. Note - 1-5/16" thick. This is a late Pleistocene - Holocene trace fossil. A unique display piece!
