Exceptional concentric growth rings well preserved as well as the pair of ventral foramina openings along the side. Very thick at 1-1/16". An EXCELLENT Striatolamia shark teeth - lateral position from thecopper red site. Good preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and tip. These are Eocene age from the Castle Hayne Fm., Hertford Co., NC.

A GORGEOUS GEM, Extra Large red colored Auriculatus tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River in northeastern No. Carolina. Incredible rare deep red colors - the BEST! An April 2019 Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel. No enamel peel. The bourlette is excellent. The serrations are sharp and large tip serration. Excellent side cusps. The root is gorgeous with few cracks on the face. No repair! An ultra rare Auriculatus collector's tooth. Definitely a top 1% red site Ric considering size, preservation, and color! Museum Quality. A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. A November Fossil of the Month.The bourlette is complete. Tooth exhibits "wavy serrated" edges similar to the Isurus escheri tooth. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. This western Kazakhstan site is one of the few places in the world where the Otodus to Auriculatus transition can be found in adjacent layers. Note - This is my last offering of Aktluagay teeth.
