A LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  blue crown and a brown colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A perfect "Pungo" hastalis tooth.

An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Great White shark transition tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from Chile. Also note that this is an ultra rare Carcharodon hubbelli with full serrations at the base of the cutting edge that transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has a rich tan colored crown and a rust red root. An ultra rare MONSTER, 3-3/16" Great White shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm., Chile. A March Fossil of the Month.This tooth is huge and extra wide (2-1/8"). It has a rich tan colored crown and a goden tan root. Fantantic color! Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks or peeling. Serrations are exceptional - very large with a big tip serration. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. A gorgeous Quenstedticeras lamberti ammonite from the Saratov region of Russia. Incredible pyrite replaced ammonite with a crystal lined interior. An ultra rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis finger III (including the manus claw and two non-associated digits). A February Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus finger III measures 6". The manus claw measures 2-15/16" with exceptional bone quality. Rich black-brown color. Excellent overall condition. The tip was repaired. Both hand bones are complete with no rapair.
