An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. Includes a massive 5-1/2" tooth and a 3" tooth in the original matrix. Both are fully rooted and perfect teeth which is very rare! This is not your typical Mosasaur crown glued to a root. An EXTRA LARGE, HIGH QUALITY Megalodon - upper jaw tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has an incredible tan, red-brown & blue  colored crown with a large brown colored bourlette. A very rare, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi shark tooth, from Herrin, Illinois. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Fantastic enamel quality. Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus toe bone from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. Exceptional bone quality and color. This toe bone is complete with excellent bone preservation. No repair or restoration. A rare, Top Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus metatarsal (II) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is the metatarsal for toe #2. This bone has excellent quality with excellent color / patina. Minor crack fill. No repair or restoration. A rare Top Quality, transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent tan colored crown and brown root with well pronounced maroon colored gum line. Excellent color. The crown edge starts with two oversized serrations at the base and quickly transforms into "Escheri-like" wavy serrations. An early stage transition form. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional GW transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate Carcharodon hubbelli since there is no new supply.

An ultra rare Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. An April Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a brown, blue & charcoal crown and a brown root. Excellent color! Razor sharp cutting edge. Extra wide root (2-5/16"). Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. Near perfect tooth. This species is the ancestor to the Great White shark. A fantastic color collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
