The December week #3 Fossil of the Month is an ultra rare, HIGH QUALITY Carcharocles megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from Morocco. It has an exceptional tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette - 90% complete. High quality enamel with small hydration cracks. Sharp serrations with a rounded tip serration. A RARE, Top Quality Dromaeosaurus albertensis (raptor) tooth from the Judith River Fm. of Montana. An August Fossil of the Month. This tooth is 1/2" which is a typical size. An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. An April Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-3/4" (straight line) or 5" (on curve) and 1-5/8" wide. The enamel is the high quality. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is excellent quality with crack fill. This is a real 5" tooth. Note - this tooth was found in the spring of 2021 and it was exposed to the winter freeze and thaw cycle which cracked the tooth in to pieces. This tooth was professionally prepared and put back together with missing area filled in. It looks incredible!  T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. See the detailed description to determine how to tell a real T-Rex tooth! An Ultra Rare, Top Quality Chilean Megalodon vertebra from the phosphate layer of the Caldera region, Chile. A gorgeous brown colored and well preserved centrum.  Note this this centrum is 3-5/8" wide and 1-1/2" deep. The complete centrum would be at least 3-1/2"+ in length. Unfortunately only one centrum side was found. No repair or restoration. An exceedingly rare BIG Chilean Megalodon vertebra from the old days! Note - these incredible big Chilean Meg vertabra simply do not exist. They are the "holy grail" for Megalodon tooth collectors!
