A TOP QUALITY shark vertebra from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Exceptional condition and preservation. Incredibly defined ventral holes. This vertebara is an aseptate design and resembles a vertebra from the Tiger shark. These vertebrae are rarely found and exceptional specimens are extremely difficult to obtain. A very rare, associated set of nine Cretaceous shark vertebraewith excellent color. Excellent concentric growth rings well preserved. Vertebra are 3/8" thick. The exposed centra face is clean. Cretaceous age. Excellent quality - exceptionally rare!

Wyoming. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. Exceptional preservation and preparation.
