NC010 SIZE: 3-1/4" - Isurus hastalis (Carcharodon hastalis)$65.00
A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis, Mako shark tooth (upper anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. This tooth has a rich blue crown and a brown colored root. Excellent colors! Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
