The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. The Macginitiea wyomingensis is a Sycamore leaf from the Eocene age (48 MYA) in the ancient Lake Unita deposit. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and color.
