Our October Fossil of the Month (FOTM) is an incredible TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE Megalodon upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from a So. Carolina. A fantastic gray colored crown. Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is black and 80% complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a large tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg. A rare, EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Chubutensis tooth from the Nottoway River, Virginia. An exceptional upper jaw anterior tooth. A nice red & gray colored crown with a black colored bourlette and root. An ultra rare, Angustidens tooth from Ungosa, Mangyshlak, western Kazakhstan. A November Fossil of the Month. This location produces top quality teeth with different enamel colors. This tooth has an excellent red color. An extra large bourlette that is complete. Nice extra coarse serrations and side cusps. The root is complete.These teeth exhibit exceptional color, gloss, and preservation. A super rare Lower Oligocene Angustidens tooth. Kujulus Formation, Rupelian age - 32 MYA. No repair. A Pathologic, Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is an upper jaw tooth with three primary cusps, but it should have had 5 cusps. Two cusp did not form. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. Perfect cusps. These tooth was found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. and is late Miocene to early Pliocene age. A scarce collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This rare piece is from an old collection!
