A GEM, 6-3/16" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Our January 2019 Fossil of the Month offering. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light creamy tan colored crown with interesting light charcoal gray patterning. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The bourlette is large and perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including the big tip serration. Excellent serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks. An extra wide root (4-7/8" wide). Great symmetry. Note - the serrations on the right side of the tooth were damaged and professionlly restored. The damaged area was restricted to the edge only. You can see the charcoal gray patterning patterning extending to the edge of the enamel. Otherwise, a perfect tooth. This Megalodon was found in a limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredible, massive 6-3/16" Caribbean Meg tooth. One of finest examples of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth that I have seen considering the shape, color, and preservation. An ultra rare Top Quality juvenile, Allosaurus fragilis tooth with a complete root. This Allosaurus crown measures 1-13/16", and it is displayed on its Morrison Fm. matrix. The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Good posterior and anterior serrations. Very good overall condition and serrations. Normal crack fill. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Bob Simon Quarry, Morrison Fm., Carbon Co., Wyoming. An ultra rare, HIGH QUALITY Red Site Otodus (Carcharocles) megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an upper jaw tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. NC009 has good copper red color. The enamel is the good quality. The serrations are sharp including the tip. Bourlette is dark brown and near complete. The root has some damage. A Miocene Meg tooth. No repair or restoration. An old collection piece from the rarest location to find a top quality Megalodon tooth - rarer than Chile, Peru, Bone Valley, etc. Authenticity guaranteed.

A Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth "Mako", shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. This is a "Blue" layer tooth which are know for the highest preservation and best color - rarely seen outside of Europe. This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). This species is the ancestor to the Great White shark and Carcharomodus escheri. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A very rare, TOP QUALITY Hainosaurus tooth, a Tylosaur mosasaur, from the Cretaceous of Khouribga, Morocco. This mosasaur is a recent discovery and genus naming. The teeth appear to be quite rare. Note - the well defined posterior hook at the top of the crown - a Hainosaurus characteristic. This specimen has a wear facet on the anterior edge of the crown and it has been cracked. This is the most difficult of the Mosasaur species to find. An excellent collector's Mosasaur tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Isurus oxyrinchus, the Shortfin Mako shark tooth (lower jaw anterior tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a blue & tan crown and a light brown colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Pliocene tooth from the Yorktown Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. This is the largest Oxyrinchus tooth one that I have seen!
