A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. An October Fossil of the Month. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 2-3/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip. Note - the top has some minor planting etching and there is one natural wear facet on the side (very typical for the Campanian Tyrannosaurs). No cracks, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., McCone Co., Montana. Probably an excellent Gorgosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. This is a premaxillary (front) tooth with a "D" shaped base cross-section. Once thought to be a "raptor" tooth, it is now clear that these teeth are Abelisaurid, a family of ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs with the unique straight posterior carina. They were the dominate smaller theropod in the late Cretaceous Kem Kem deposit. Fantastic red color and serrations. Excellent preservation. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic Abelisaurid tooth.  They do not find many premaillary teeth.

Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Glacier Co., Montana. This is an excellent Daspletosaurus or Gorgosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. A ~4" TOP QUALTIY Megalodon - Golden Beach tooth. Fantastic caramel tan colored crown with an incredible brown colored bourlette (extra large & complete!) and a brown root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent serrations with a damaged tip serration. No hydration cracks on root! Miocene age (10-15 million years ago). A very good size for a Florida Meg tooth.  A couple of small flaws away from an ultra high dollar GEM tooth. No repair - of course! An excellent collector's Golden Beach tooth.
