An Ultra Rare, rooted Top Quality Allosaurus fragilis tooth measuring 3-3/8". This Allosaurus crown measures 1-1/2" and is wide for its size (5/8"). The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Very good serrations on both sides all the way to the wear facet. Very good serrations for a large tooth. Two cracks was stabilizied. A little repair was done on the narrowest section of the root. Excellent overall condition with very good serrations. An excellent quality tooth! A rare, EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could be Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A July Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 3-1/16" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. An ultra rare, Top Quality lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich orange -  tan crown with a light tan root. Nine main cusps (two have some damage). The root is incredible - damage free and thick. Incredible color and preservation. These are Pliocene age, Yorktown Formation teeth. A Leptopius duponti - fossil Weevil cocoon from Eyre Pennisula, South Australia. They are known as "pixie clogs". These cacoons were spun by the weevils in their pupae stage to protect them during metamorphosis into adult beetles. Excellent preservation. Note - 1-5/16" thick. This is a late Pleistocene - Holocene trace fossil. A unique display piece!

This tooth was recently erupted and had no tip wear. No hydration cracks or breaks. Note - the root section is 1-1/4"+ and with a wall that is nearly 1/4" thick.
