A TOP QUALITY Phareodus fish. The Phareodus encaustus is a Osteoglossidae fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) fish, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. A scarce species. The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. Exceptional preservation and preparation. No repair. All natural. Plate size is 10" x 7.5". Authenticity guaranteed. A very rare Glyphis glyphis tooth, the Speartooth shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D172 is the lower lateral tooth on the right. Authenticity guaranteed.

Small well preserved egg shell pieces from Pyroraptor olympius, a Dromaeosaurid raptor dinosaur, from southern France. This small raptor whose name means "fire thief". A very unique shell design with large dimples. These egg shell pieces are typical size for these small eggs with a shell thickness of 1/32"+. These late Cretaceous age shells were found near the Pyroraptor discovery site in Trets, Aix Basin, Provence, France. All natural. No restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.

An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Mosasaurus beaugei tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Excellent preservation. Note - the well defined ridges running the length of the crown - a M. beaugei characteristic. This massive specimen has an excellent wide cross-section.
