A Top Quality Abelisaurid dinosaur tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. An October Fossil of the Month. Once thought to be a "raptor" tooth, it is now clear that these teeth are Abelisaurid, a family of Ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs with the unique straight posterior carina. They were the dominate smaller theropod in the late Cretaceous Kem Kem deposit. Excellent red color and serrations. Excellent preservation. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic Abelisaurid tooth.  Note - Based upon recent discoveries, there is a large Abelosaurid in the Kem Kem. The 1"+ Abelosaurid teeth may belong to this large species. A LARGE RARE, GEM QUALITY  Pectinodon bakkeri tooth from the Hell Creek Fm. of western North America. Anterior tooth. An April Fossil of the Month. Pectinodon is a small Troodontid and has teeth similar to Troodon.  Pectinodon are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. The enamel is excellent with a great brown color.  Excellent large posterior and no anterior serrations. No repair or restoration. Two well preserved horse teeth (Equus sp. ) and a deer tooth (Odocoileus sp.) from Okeechobee, Florida.  The horse arrived in North America during the late Pliocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene. Deer arrived in No. America in the mid-Miocene. These teeth reside on their original hard sandstone matrix. Lots of prep time required to expose these teeth. Very well fossilized specimens. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A great display piece!

A Leptopius duponti - fossil Weevil cocoon from Eyre Pennisula, South Australia. They are known as "pixie clogs". These cacoons were spun by the weevils in their pupae stage to protect them during metamorphosis into adult beetles. Excellent preservation. Note - 1-5/16" thick. This is a late Pleistocene - Holocene trace fossil. A unique display piece!

An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality 6-1/16" Caribbean Megalodon tooth - a upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. An October Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible very light tan colored crown with charcoal and red-brown highlights. Highest quality enamel with very small hydration cracks. The bourlette is white colored and complete. The Caribbean Megalodon teeth consistently offer the closest to white colored enamel. Fantastic color! The serrations are razor sharp and complete. Excellent serrations overall. The root is a golden tan color, has no hydration cracks, and iscomplete. Note - this tooth has 1/2" of professional restoration of a saw cut  located 5/8" below the tip on the right side (typical for these teeth). Otherwise a perfect tooth. Great symmetry. This Megalodon was found in a commercial limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredibly colored Caribbean Megalodon tooth. One of finest examples of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth that I have seen. An exceptional, rare collector's Megalodon tooth with great color!  Museum Quality Megalodon.
