Excellent BLUE color with a tan root and bourlette. The root is ~11/16" thick and shows small hydration cracks. This Parotodus tooth was found in the Yorktown Formation (Pliocene age). A TOP QUALITY Chubutensis tooth from Peru - an upper jaw tooth. Another February Fossil of the Month. An incredible tan and red colored crown with no peel. Highest quality enamel.
