A rare, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens finger from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The finger includes two carpals and a manus claw. Edmontosaurus was mainly bipedal, but could walk on all four legs in search of food. As noted by the front leg size difference, Edmontosaurus could put little weight on them. Excellent bone quality. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Harding Co., So. Dakota. A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, posterior tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. The bourlette is complete. Tooth exhibits very fine serrations along the inner curve of the crown only. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! This is a non-associated set of toe bones from the outer toe (toe IV - see diagram), and it consists of four four toe bones (Phalanx 1 thru 4) and a pes hoof core (ungual). Bone quality is excellent with minor crack fill on Phalanx 1 & 2 only. Other pieces are perfect including an exceptional pes ungual. No restoration. An EXTRA LARGE ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. An August Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon is a BIG upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Exceptional rich copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality, and there is a cool bite mark on the display side (see the 5th photo). The serrations are large, razor sharp, and essentially complete with a good tip serration.
