A Top Quality Ptychodus polygyrus, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Kamp Ranch Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with 8 to 9 fine transverse ridges extending across the cusp face and transition to a concentric pattern at the base of the cusp. Authenticity guaranteed. A natural Hoploscaphites nebrascensis ammonite with excellent preservation of the shell material. The ammonite shell has some natural iridescence. This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with multiple rows of tubercles (nodes). This specimen is sits in an original Pierre Shale nodule with a flat base for a great display. A TOP QUALITY, LARGE Araucaria mirabilis pine cone limb section from Argentina. This limb section is nicely articulated and demonstrates the excellent preservation that is present with the cones.
