An EXTRA LARGE, GEM modern Speartooth shark, Glyphis glyphis. The Speartooth shark gets its name from the unique spear-like shape of its lower jaw teeth. Upper jaw tooth. A completely serrated tooth. A silica replaced Cyrtospirifer brachiopod Rudkine near Voronezh, Russia. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. Exceptional preservation. Note - 1" thick and heavy! This is a late Devonian (370 mya) brachiopod. A nice display piece!
