A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis head spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This juvenile Pachy skull spike has excellent color and patina. Note the large blood grooves in the bone. It is a complete skull spike specimen. A rare, LARGE rooted Top Quality Prognathodon anceps tooth with a jaw section from the phosphate mining region, Khouribga, Morocco. P. anceps is the largest mosasaur species known with huge with wide teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation. Note - this large Moroccan Mosasaur was renamed to a Prognathodon genus. The crown measures 2-1/2". Wide base and root. One crack. A Top Quality, 4-1/2" Classic Peruvian Early Megalodon tooth. Our 2nd February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent tan bourlette. Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and essentially complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. The root is an excellent reddish brown color and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). Note -  the "root ears"on the root, root wing grooves, the exceptionally large serrations, and Chubutensis-like humps at the base of the serrations - all Miocene traits. An Ultra Rare, LARGE Top Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Meg teeth to locate. This "Bakersfield white" tooth was found in Ernst "whale quarry". Highest quality enamel with a great light tan color. The bourlette is a white color and mostly dentin layer. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete with a great tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. Note - This is a middle Miocene Meg has tip repair. You will not see large middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. One of the rarest Megs! A very nice, Large Priscacara (Cockerellites) liops fish from the 18 inch layer. The Priscacara liops is an extinct Perch from the Eocene age (50 MYA), Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. Exceptional preservation and preparation. An incredibly sized, GEM Great White shark tooth from Chile. My final February 2018 Fossil of the Month.This ULTRA RARE, MONSTER sized Great White tooth measures 2-7/8" - a huge upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Highest quality enamel! Excellent color.
